School of Swimology is excited to be part of Global Wellness Day 2026, a full-day wellness event happening at The Initial Sama Serviced Residences on Saturday, 13 June 2026.

As part of the event line-up, we will be conducting Floating Yoga on Water, a pool-based wellness session that brings together balance, breathwork, gentle core activation, and mindful movement on water.

This session will be led by William Ong from School of Swimology and is suitable for participants aged 14 and above.

What Is Floating Yoga on Water?

Floating Yoga on Water is a unique movement experience performed on floating fitness mats in the swimming pool.

Unlike a regular land-based yoga class, the water adds a natural element of instability. This challenges your balance, body awareness, posture, and core control in a gentle but engaging way.

The goal is not to perform difficult poses perfectly. Instead, the session encourages participants to slow down, breathe, move with awareness, and reconnect with their body in a refreshing environment.

Why Try Floating Yoga?

Floating Yoga is suitable for anyone who wants to explore wellness through movement in a different way.

Because the session takes place on water, participants become more aware of their breathing, alignment, and control. Every small movement matters. The floating surface encourages the body to stabilise, adjust, and respond naturally.

Participants can expect a session that includes:

  • Gentle movement and body awareness

  • Balance-based exercises

  • Breathing and mindfulness elements

  • Light core activation

  • A refreshing pool-based experience

It is a great way to start the day with calmness, movement, and a sense of play.
