What is the Child LifeSG Credits?

The Child LifeSG Credit is a one-time $500 support measure announced by the Singapore government to help families manage household and developmental expenses for children.

Key Details:

Amount: $500 per eligible child
Eligibility: Singaporean children born between 2013 and 2024
Disbursed via: LifeSG mobile app (to the child’s Child Development Account (CDA) trustee)
Disbursement date: Week of 7 July 2025 (for children born between 2013–2024)
Usage: Credits can be spent at merchants that accept PayNow UEN QR or NETS QR, to help cover expenses such as enrichment lessons, household items, or sports programmes.

These credits are designed to ease the financial load for parents while encouraging the holistic development of children through quality programmes like swimming lessons.
